Whanau trip to Rotorua - August 2009

We went to Rotorua for the weekend and had loads of adventures. We left on a Saturday morning and headed straight to Paradise Valley Springs. Kaia felt safer in a tree watching the awesome sight of lion's getting fed.

We had a two bags of food and really enjoyed feeding the animals and trout. The alpaca had very cool curly hair, and the goat was a bit of a character, following us around hoping for more food.

We were fascinated with this mummy wallaby and her joey poking it's head out of the pouch. After the wildlife park it was off to find our motel which had a great hot pool which we spent ages in. The next day was Mummy's birthday and we went out for breakfast then to the park.

 

At the park they had Shetland Ponies and we got to have a ride!
