The campground was an amazing place for kids with a heated pool, spa, playground, indoor playroom for under five's and this very cool stream...
and in that stream were eels
Grandma's friend Penny came and helped us feed the eels one day, when you first approach the water you can't see anything but as soon as some food is thrown in the eels emerge from their hiding place under the rock.
It was amazing to watch them writhing about and sucking their food down. There was a sign nearby with information about eels and what they could be fed - they seemed to like the left over fish and chips and sausages the best.

Just keep your toes away Ché and you will be fine!

and with Daddy there for support Kaia braved their slipperiness too!
On Fathers Day it was time to head back home, after one more turn at the playground.
